The stumbling block before me is that the degree that launched my IT career was obtained back in the 80s and it'll likely need some updating before I can take that test. It's on my radar, but right now, it's at the edge of the screen and won't be in range for some time. Compounding my problem is the fact that I need to find some type of work quickly so that I can stop the fiscal bleeding.

Conbrio: You know I agree. It's like having an adult beverage. A little indulgence is fine, but a lot of indulgence will surely result in a big headache.

The thing about that Agency/Contracts/Remedies essay is that, at this point, we don't know exactly which subject(s) they wanted us to analyze the most, or in what proportion.

All we can do it wait, and hope for the best. The Grand Poobahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07226524231756836464noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5559983208580788273.post-50169079918172261932007-07-29T13:18:00.000-07:002007-07-29T13:18:00.000-07:00I'm with you in mostly staying out of the post-exa...I'm with you in mostly staying out of the post-exam discussions. It's too touchy - I think post-exam rehashing is probably best done with your friends who know your sore spots and will try to stay away from them.

At the same time, it's reassuring to see on the message boards, etc. that I'm not the only one who missed agency, and that there's more than one way to skin an essay question.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5559983208580788273.post-49911127459579611302007-07-28T17:03:00.000-07:002007-07-28T17:03:00.000-07:00Best of luck to you, GP. Of course, there's another test to take, but nothing like this one. I made the transition some fifteen years ago, passed state and patent bars back then, and had to study wills and trusts all over again for this exam. I'll be 56 when I get (hopefully) the good news...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
