The bright side to failing the Bar Exam is ..

... that we get to see the process up close. We get to compare our answers with the released answers and we get to see our scores. We have a better understanding of exactly what it's going to take to pass this thing.

Call me crazy (Go ahead. I'll wait.) but there's a part of me that's glad to see how the process works. Okay, I'll admit it. That even sounds crazy to me. But because I like to know how things work, I feel better now about what I have to do to get a passing score in February. There's less mystery to the process.

Of course, I would also be crazy not to admit that I would happily have accepted not knowing my scores; but that would have been too easy. For some bizarre reason I rarely do anything the easy way. Sometimes it's as though I don't feel like I've earned it until I've really had to struggle.

Yeah. I know. That's just crazy.

Okay, then I'm crazy too. :)

After reviewing my essays and studying a little, I feel like the Bar's game plan is exposed.

This is probably more a response to your previous 12.11.07 post, but when I got back my essays, I thought the same exact thing for some of them.

"I *know* I did *not* write this..." but alas, I did...I did.

Actually, I did fine on my essays, more or less. I went wrong on the MBEs and the .. get this .. the PTs. WTF. No one even reviews the PTs because they're supposed to be "easy." Right? Ugh. I failed both of them. How pathetic is that.

I don't even know where to begin in terms of studying/improving my PT scores. Any ideas?

Siiigh... Will be checking back to this site frequently. Thanks for existing.
