Some Fiddling, I'm Doing.
Yes, that's right, I'm fiddling around with the blog. You might see some ads (or not), or some new colors or layouts (or not), or ... anything, really. Like I said, I'm fiddling with it.
Just let me know if something looks heinously heinous.
Never give up. Like you, I grad law school in 2007 and hope to pass but I will be studying for Feb cuz I know we will pass! Thanks for the inspiration. sflaw
May not be the right BLOG to ask this question on BUT...does anyone who has passed the July 2010 exam on their first try have the 2010 Mini Conviser for sale?
Vonnie: Thanks, you're exactly right. We will pass this thing.
Anon: 3:42: Are you asking someone who has passed the bar exam on their first try, or someone who has passed the July 2010 exam on their first try, or is it a rhetorical question as no one yet knows whether they've passed the July 2010 exam, first try or otherwise?
I hope you're all right, but let's face it, some won't pass. I graduated from a good law school ten years ago, then life happened, my mom passed away, dad had a stroke, got married, have a baby, have bills out the yin yang, and am multiple time repeater in several jurisdictions. I will try again in Cali, but as it stands between the moral character wait, the low pass rates, my own failin' confidence and mountin' pressures I'm not too sure when, or yes, if I'll ever pass this monster. Oh well, I'll tell you one thing, I'm not gonna take it forever and break the all time record for fails (what is it?) and I won't ever give in just to be unhappy just to say I have an Esq. on my name. Having said all of this, I'm smarter than most, could pass and become an attorney, and a good one at that, and could be somewhat comfortable for life and for my heirs, but we'll see, I know it's not up to only me, eventually we all fail or fade But enough about me, best of success to you all whether you pass this thing or never do!:?
Hey Anonymous, Seems like your Pride is the thing that is getting the best of you. "I'm smarter than most, could pass and become an attorne". Your overconfidence is your weakeness.
So, how is the studying going? It's important to keep at it, even just an hour or two a day, until you get your results.
It will keep you sane (or, in my case, less insane) and grounded. It's almost medicinal.
I urge you to listen to one CD each day or do 33 MBE questions, or something to keep your brain studying law for an hour or two each day. It's much different without the stress of an impending exam, and you will reap rewards no matter what the outcome of July.
First off your advice to GP is just strait GARBARGE. Can't you get off the guys back for a minute? It's medicinal for you but not for him. Give the guy some space. It was a tough examine.
It may be garbage to you, but not to others. Possibly you are garbage-dyslexic in that you feast on what others consider garbage, and shun what others consider worthy.
That's true. But then again it's also possible that you are garbage-dyslexic in that you feast on what others consider garbage, and shun what others consider worthy.
Hey room, I am at work my firm loves me enough were they gave me a third shot at this bar. I don't think I passed because its just that difficult. I don't know what to think I cannot even focus and bill hours because all I can think about is how I didn't pass and will be fired in two short months. The crazy thing is my firm even gave me 5k to get a private tutor. I felt 100% better than last two times, but I was 40 points away and don't know if I had enough to cover the spread!:( pray for me God will always prevail even if I do not pass.
Ty: Congrats on the great job! And prayers are heading your way too.
Anon 3:26: Yes, and No. I go up and down in a 10 lb. range. As I recall, I was at the lower end of that range when I took that picture. Very observant, you are.
Anon: 10:31: Panicked? Nope. Of course, I've been there and done that. Besides, panicking is a waste of mental energy at this point. And now is as good a time as any to practice controlling those emotions because if you get good news in November you'll have to make a living one of the most stressful occupations known to man! Okay, that might be a bit of an exaggeration, but there's no doubt that you will encounter situations more stressful than this one so you might as well begin to prepare for them now.
Anon 12:13: I've been thinking the same thing. I'll try to figure out something to write that won't be too mundane and boring. And I'll try to do that in the next day or so.
The California Bar Exam is not, I repeat NOT, the end all be all of my existence. For that, I shall be the coolest taker in history and smoothly pass the Thing next year. Peace all :)

GP,
Someone who has used the latest version of the Mini Conviser and has passed the February 2010 exam.
Yeah, I knew that! Send me an e-mail, I think I know someone who can help.

Hey, Anonymous--you are very down. Keep that in check. Just a suggestion--sometimes it is good to take a break. Just a thought. Take care of yourself.

GP -- This is your conscience speaking.
Yes, long time no see is right.

Hang tough, Big Guy.

Hey, you look like you lost weight.
Hi, I was searching around and found an online tutoring place that has some books. Has anyone used any of their stuff? California Bar Tutors
Anyone panicked over the results coming out? I am so afraid of not passing.
I decided to start studying. Any thoughts out there?
Just relax. You might as well enjoy your last moments before you find out. If the time comes for you to study again, then so be it.
