you have a lot of good thoughts coming your way, GP!
What was up with that Evidence/Civil Procedure question????? I feel like I missed half the issues, anybody?
Anon 12:11: I agree. They must have been looking for a very thorough analysis of the few issues presented by the facts. Whatever; I spent 60 minutes on it then moved to Q3.I noticed a funny thing about the timing on these essays. I felt like I was done with Q1 after about 45 minutes, so I moved right to Q2. As a result, when I finished Q2 I had 15 extra minutes to spend on Q3. I really appreciated those extra minutes when I got about 15 minutes into my outline.
And I know what you're thinking right now, "Why is GP still up at 3:50 a.m. when he should be getting some much deserved rest?" Actually, I'm thinking the same thing. Can't sleep, for some reason. I even took a Tylenol PM. Blah.
Hope it's going well GP. As for me, that first PT threw me off... The setup was straight forward but reading the statutes and cases was like reading Latin. I had a difficult time grasping the concepts. After reading it 3 or 4 times and it still didn't make sense to me, so I actually got up to go to go clear my head. Finally, when I sat back down, I finally just decided to tackle it but was racing against the clock. All I was focused on was at least finishing the answer...Turned in one sorry *ss product though.... keeping my fingers crossed on that one.
I agree with Fliparagon, that first PE was ugly. They tricked us into feeling confident by giving us the questions up front. Let's see how tmrw goes.Good luck to all.
Good luck! Discuss every fact: it's relevant; say why. If it's irrelevant, make a note of that and move on...
From a 6th time passer. I do not envy any of you. Just keep plugging away even if you get discouraged. The year I passed I literally was so discouraged because of the first morning's essays, for a few minutes I pondered whether I should get up and leave. I did not.
