Did you make any of the model answers GP?

Lol! Yeah, I actually did check to see if any of my answers were selected to be the epitome of the proper answer to which we should all strive. It is to laugh, actually. But no, none of my answers were the released answers.

In my defense, however, it was such a surprise to find out that I had passed, I thought "What the heck, if I passed, I might actually have done something else equally surprising."

So, to what should be no one's surprise, you won't find any of my pearls of wisdom published on the State Bar website.

But thanks for asking!

Congrats GP. As someone who passed on my 15th attempt I can tell you passing never gets old. I am now a senior partner in a very successful firm. Good luck with your career GP.

Commencing Monday January 28 2013 - Monday February 25 2013 I will be posting lists of the most commonly tested issues for each subject on the CA exam. Brian and all others feel free to add to the list as you see fit. Hopefully these lists will help everyone zoom in on the bigger and point heavier issues on the exam. Good luck to all and congratulations again to our host here.

Can you post your answers from old exams GP? Even seeing ones when you didn't pass would be helpful so we know where the bogey is. Thanks GP (a.k.a Maverick)

GP - 1:57 here again. Any thoughts about posting? I note that there hasn't been any posting in quite some time and the Feb exam is coming up. What advice do you have for us Feb takers? Any guesses on what we may see? Thanks for any help you can give GP!

Not yet. I've been extremely busy with my law practice and I haven't had time to organize my thoughts on the February exam. I will try to get something up next week, though.

Thanks for asking!

GP - 10:37 again. I've having a tough time with Barbri. In your opinion is it too late to switch to the Tolerico method before the CBX this February? Thank you o' wise one ... you are my yoda GP :)

Hey there ... Yes, I believe you are correct. When you're this deep in the river I believe it's too late to change horses.

On the other hand, I always felt that way at this point. But honestly, that's probably how you should feel with less than 20 days to go. You already know all the law you need to pass, it's just a matter of becoming comfortable with it.

In fact, I think that feeling was the catalyst behind my attitude shift on the July '12 exam. I was pissed off because I KNEW that I knew enough law, so I scaled back on memorization and worked on my writing style and MBEs. Of course, I did stray pretty far off the reservation on the actual exam, but I only did that because I felt comfortable with the law.

If I was in your situation (and I have been there before, as you well know), I would focus primarily on the MBEs. Looking back, I think it was probably my MBE score (and only a couple of good essays) that put me over the top.

But, hey, what do I know? I can't even tell you if I passed by one point or by 500 points.

Regardless, one of the most important things to remember is to relax. It really helps to realize that there's not much you can do at this point to boost your score so you should get comfortable, and confident about the whole thing.

One "anonymous" generously agreed that "Commencing Monday
January 28 2013 - Monday February 25 2013 I will be posting
lists of the most commonly tested issues for each subject
on the CA exam."
Are this located here
on the blog - or elsewhere. This info will be soo helpful.
Thank you.

One very generous person on this site wrote recently,"beginning Monday January 28 2013 - Monday February 25 2013 I will be posting lists of the most commonly tested issues for each subject on the CA exam."

This will be soooo helpful. Are these posted on this site? Where can we find them? Thank you very much.
