My study schedule today says Business Associations. It's a good thing I picked up the new BarBri stuff Saturday because theirs is the only material I have on the new subjects. On the bright side, one of my favorite professors is going to sit down with a few of us for three 3-hour sessions on the new material. That guy loves to teach and I'm grateful for his enthusiasm.

The pile of unused study material got a little higher today. I bought a book on Civ Pro a few weeks ago without thinking that it likely did not contain the new material. Blah. Two more double sawbucks bite the dust. Civ Pro was my weakest subject in school because I was trying to attach some degree of importance to it while dealing with the second death of a family member within that one year. Looking back at my transcripts, it appears that Civ Pro wasn't the only subject that suffered. Those were some tough days. I recall being extremely grateful for the 'C'.

Isn't Gluttony one of the Seven Deadly Sins? If so, then I should be dead because I'm a glutton for punishment. I just got off the phone with my long term study partner and we discussed our plans for today. To put a positive spin on things I guess one could say I'm simply ambitious. Yeah... that's the ticket!

My granddaughter has a toy with Winnie the Pooh riding on a turtle. Hit the button and it motors around. One of the recorded sayings comes to mind right now... "Here we go this way, here we go that way, here we go, there we go, to and fro." It rhymes and it's catchy and it sticks in your head. And it's an apt description of me lately.

Because this is only an essay subject, you can concentrate only on areas that are essay-testable. For example you can probably skip over discovery.

I would have to agree with you on that one. I've looked at a lot of past bar exams and I don't think I've ever seen a Corporations/Business Associations question that had discovery as an issue. Most of the time it's BoD, officer or maj. SH duties of loyalty or due care; Agents; or 10b5/16b violations.

I meant for Civ Pro.

I see, said the blind man. Gotcha. I was relating your comment to what I actually studied yesterday, rather than what I talked about in that post. My bad.

What are your study plans? Are you going to use BarBri primarily?

I don't really have a plan right now. I should make a post about that.
