... have much to say today. I reviewed Contracts this morning per my schedule but was pulled away for a couple of hours on non-study related tasks. Then I fired up Adaptibar. I did 23 Contracts MBEs and got 91% right, and 16 Torts MBEs and got 88% right. There's got to be something wrong here somewhere.
The only difference between this last week and the previous months is that I've decided to take an extra minute to think these things through. So far, my "sweet spot", according to Adaptibar, is between 50 and 60 seconds. My success rate at that speed was 70% overall. I'm going to drag things out a bit and see how high I can get my overall percentage. I'm going to try to keep it under two minutes per question. That seems fair considering that if I fall behind in the number of questions completed I can still speed it up and get a respectable percentage correct at the one minute per question rate.
This morning before I started with Contracts I opened up the BarBri Drills and Released Questions book and did the Con Law and Torts MBEs. I missed 5 out of 17 on both. I think that's around 70%. Tomorrow I'll check my performance with the PMBR book. I'm sure some of my success is due to the fact that I've seen many of these questions before. But that was one or two years ago for some of this stuff. Blah. Who knows.
It scares me to do well out of the gate. It usually means that I'm going to get complacent later.
Double blah.
