Dumpor Lives!

Inquiring minds want to know. Well, biff wanted to know. And I was a bit curious as well. So I looked it up and found a definition for the Rule in Dumpor's Case here: http://tinyurl.com/34wxm5

"Rule in Dumpor's Case - English rule that provides that if a landlord consents to one assignment of the lease by the tenant, the landlord consents to all subsequent assignments; most statutes have abolished by statute the effects of this rule."

I wonder why they use stuff like this in the MBE practice books in the 21st century.
