They Ought To Make A ...

...Twilight Zone Episode out of the month leading up to the Bar Exam.

The total number of days until the exam seems to be dwindling faster than the stack of plastic cups next to the keg at a frat party. Yet the slowness with which the individual days creep by is, at times, agonizing. And then some days seem to simply disappear in the rear view mirror like so many small one-caution-light towns through which you pass on your drive across the country. "Was that a town I just drove through?", you ask yourself. If you were lucky enough not to get caught in a radar trap you might never know it was there. Yesterday was like that for me. I remember getting something done, I just can't remember what it was. And there's nothing in the rear view mirror but a half written Remedies essay.

That scares me a bit. I must pay more attention.

It is scary! I'm getting to the point where I'm convinced that the stuff I did at the beginning - I've COMPLETELY forgotten. It's hard to feel ok enough with each subject to move on but I guess ya gotta keep moving through them as there's so many :(

Yeah, this is bizarre. It's like I'm living in a dream world. Some days are good dreams, some not so good.

The frustrating part about it is that, like a dream, I can remember what I studied right after I worked on it, but then 20 minutes later the memory has faded.

I just hope the long-term memory kicks in on July 24th at 9:00 a.m.

They say that short-term memory kicks in within the thirty day range. In other words, the stuff you memorized twenty days ago has to be looked at again. I revisited RP today and realized I'd completly gone blank on easements, etc.

I know exactly what you mean. Everytime I look at the timer on your site I throw up a little in my mouth! The days go by terrifyingly fast...but oh so slow when I'm at work...
