Time to Perform the Test or Test the Performance

I've got John Holtz's one-day PT workshop today. I contemplated not going. At this late date, every minute is crucial. And this is a whole day!

I decided it's worth it. And I can always bug out at lunch if it appears that my brain won't stretch far enough to wrap around John's theory.

And I skipped the protein smoothie yesterday, so I'm safe! Safe for others, that is. (;-)>

This whole PT thing is hard to concentrate on - it always seems a huge amount of time when time is SO valuable at the moment! But I think you are right to go seeing as it is worth as much as it is - if it helps ya pass the PT part it's worth any time! :)

I am sure the one-day will be worth it. I wished I had done the one day vs. the three day, as I really only use part of his method. In the end, you have to do what you are comfortable with, and it's really nothing against that bar prep person.
Let us know how it goes.
I am going through the same dilemma about PMBR. That's three fricking days! But I've heard it can garner you up to twenty extra points!

I'd love it if you could pass on any pearls of wisdom about the performance test. The PT scares me.

Is the PT workshop powerful? Mr. Poobah? what does "safe for others" mean?

Richard: That was my exact concern. Despite my self-induced confidence, I know I'll feel woefully unprepared come the 24th. But seeing as how I've had very little prior exposure to this part of the exam, I want to make sure I don't just go in there and give away a bunch of points. So I have to believe that it's time well spent. We'll know come November.

Blondie: Agree, I do. But I'm not doing the PMBR thing because I feel competent on the MBEs at this point. Otherwise, I too would consider those three days to be time well spent.

xkx: I'd love to pass on some of John's wisdom. The problem is that we all sign a non-disclosure agreement up front. But I can say that it's worth many times the nominal fee he charges.

Cutie: Read my "Blast" post and you'll understand. Pay attention to the paragraph about the protein shakes. (;-)>
