What's alive is my hope of finding a job. I sent out a bunch of resumes over the past couple of days and I received a response to one that wasn't a rejection. Yippee!
Okay, so it's not a job offer. It's merely an attempt to schedule what's probably the first of many interviews. But it is a sign of life! It's a sign that there might be a company out there somewhere that's interested in helping me make the house payment.
The flame of hope burns eternal!
