I'm having a disconnect

My brain is disconnected from my body.

My brain screams "Study!", but my body yawns "Not until January 2nd."

And it doesn't help that my family's been keeping me busy since mid-December with Christmas tasks. Christmas is usually a big event at our house but because of the competing interest of the Bar my participation has been somewhat limited compared to Christmases past.

I have actually gotten some studying done, but it's been more like keeping a pot on the back burner while you prepare the more important dishes. All that's left now is the cleanup, then everything gets moved to the front burners.

I've been focusing on MBEs so far. I've been through Torts, ConLaw, and part of Evidence. I figure I'll hit the MBE subjects hard at first, then focus on efficiently writing essays and PTs, and then hit the MBEs again before the Exam.

It sounds like a plan.

I feel you....it seems like I want to do anything and everything but study! The MBEs were my downfall as well...don't worry, you're doing something now, and it will be kicked up quite a bit by January 2. Are you using PMBR?

ADD" I'll get to the PMBR books eventually, but for now I'm using Strategies and Tactics for the MBE by Walton and Emanuel. And you're right, I'm kicking it up as we speak!

I'm glad. I'm in the same boat. I haven't done much studying in the last 10 days, beyond doing some MBEs in the airport and on the plane...GOOD LUCK!!!
