After a bit of consideration, and some discussion with my tutor, I've decided not to immerse myself in the complete BarBri program. I'm going to use it selectively to support my weak subjects. And because I've heard all of the lectures before, some more than twice, I'm not going to sit through all of the lectures again. I'll do the homework assignments and the workshops, but the time I would have spent in the lecture hall will be put to better use in my own private study plan.
At least that's the plan. For today, I mean. My plan for today. It's likely to change tomorrow. But at least I've got a plan. I'm like Linus. My plan is my security blanket.

I'm too chicken to deviate from what they tell me to do : )
Amanda, do what's best for you. Figure out what your best bar prep options are based on what you know right now and imagine where you'll be and how you'll feel one year down each path. Pick the path that looks the most positive then head down it with confidence.
(snip)
I wrote pages of inspirational stuff in response to your one-line comment. If you were my daughter you would have rolled your eyes a dozen times by now and said, "Dad, I get it, can I go now?"
The bottom line is that in July it's going to be You v. The Bar Exam. You need to do what's best for Amanda right now. You got through law school making tough decisions, its time to make another one. You're smart, you know what to do, now go do it.
And that's all I have to say about that (in my best Forrest Gump voice).
If you've heard all the lectures (more than twice no less) then there is no need to go through that craziness again, you are totally right. Here on in it's about firming up your knowledge and practice practice practice. And keeping the faith...
Agree, I do. I'm retyping my CrimLaw outline right now, rewording the definitions as I go. It forces me to review the elements and definitions and reestablishes them in my mind. I think this is a better use of my time than passive listening. Plus I save the hour travel time both ways between my house and BarBri. That's two hours times the 20+ days they have substantive law lectures. That's 40 hours of time, besides the lectures, that would have been mis-used. Yikes!
